Norcross Heritage Trust is committed to preserving and sharing the history of the village of Norcross.
Located in central Maine, on the edge of North Twin Lake and the West Branch of the Penobscot River, Norcross was founded in 1893.
Now a quiet settlement of homes and summer camps, it was once a bustling destination for sportsmen, river guides, and lumbermen via the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad, and supported a railway station, steamboat wharf, post office, hotel, store, and school.
